Inside Seun’s journey

Getting to know Seun — one moment at a time

1

Career

Seun has built his professional banking career over more than fifteen years in Calgary, beginning as Manager of Professional Banking, then moving to Vice President of Commercial Banking, and later serving as Regional Vice President of Private Banking and Wealth Management. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with business owners, directly and indirectly. Motivated by a clear purpose, he shifted to private practice as a business consultant, helping companies with acquisition, consolidation, and growth strategies. Additionally, Seun and his wife have owned a Calgary-based business for the past 17 years, which has employed over 30 people since its start.

Community

Seun recently launched a platform called “My Right to Play (MRP)” to expand access to the resources needed for career growth and entrepreneurship. MRP has hosted over 350 Calgary business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs free of charge to equip them with relevant information that will help them access business capital and resources to successfully manage and grow their businesses. The program runs twice a year and is supported by major Canadian banks and a national accounting firm. I created this platform because I believe in expanding access and creating opportunities for Alberta business.
